\nYemen\u2019s government has called on the international community to take action to stop the Houthi militia\u2019s continuous bombardment of IDPs camps in the city of Marib.<\/p>\n
In a statement, the foreign ministry has called on the international community to \u201cuse all means of pressure to stop the [Houthi] aggression against IDPs and civilians.\u201d<\/p>\n
The statement cited the \u201cbombardment of three camps north of Marib with more than 37 shells and rockets\u201d within a week as a sign of the \u201cincreasing rate\u201d of the militia\u2019s war crimes. The latest Houthi escalation in Marib has caused dozens of casualties among IDPs many of them children and women, and led to the re-displacement of 576 families.<\/p>\n
Marib is populated by millions of people most of whom are escapees from Houthi crackdowns in the northwest of the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
