\nMinister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ahmad Awadh bin Mubarak discussed Monday with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Ahmad al-Sabbah, on the sidelines of the High-Level Meeting on celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Establishing None-Aligned Movement here, mutual relations between the two countries and latest developments in Yemen.<\/p>\n
The two parties also discussed common-concerned national and international issues.<\/p>\n
Bin Mubarak informed his Kuwaiti counterpart on latest political, security, economic and humanitarian situations and Houthi militia’s military escalation in Marib and Shabwa, which reflects Houthi militia’s defiance to the international consensus on realizing peace in Yemen.<\/p>\n
He pointed out to Houthi militia unjust siege on al-Abdiah District in Marib amid international silence, stressing significance of international community’s action to put pressure on Houthi militia to end this siege and allow entrance of food, medicine and humanitarian assistance to the besieged people.<\/p>\n
The two convening ministers exchanged views on political efforts for realizing peace under Houthi militia’s stubbornness and international consensus on returning to political approach. They confirmed commitment to the three agreed upon references led by Security Council’s resolution 2216 as foundations to any political understandings for realizing peace and stopping the war.<\/p>\n
For his part, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister expressed his country’s denunciation of the terrorist attack which targeted governor of Aden and minister of agriculture and fishery wealth on Sunday in Aden.<\/p>\n
He confirmed continuous Kuwaiti support to international efforts for realizing inclusive and permanent peace in Yemen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
