\nSpeaker of Parliament Sultan al-Barakani received today, Monday, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Republic of Yemen Salim Khalifa al-Ghafli to bid him farewell as his tenure has expired now.<\/p>\n
Al-Baramani highly praised the Ambassador’s significant role he played during his mission in supporting the Yemeni cause and legitimate leadership against Iran-backed Houthi militias’ coup.<\/p>\n
He expressed the Yemeni leadership’s and peoples’ deep appreciation to Mr. al-Ghafli for his diplomatic efforts and his contribution to defend the Yemeni sovereignty against the Persian-Houthi sectarian scheme through his three sons participation within the Emirati troops who fought in different Yemeni regions.<\/p>\n
The Speaker of Parliament also extoled the Emirati effective role in support of legality in Yemen.<\/p>\n
