\nChairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi received US Ambassador to Yemen Steven Fagin on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The meeting discussed mutual relations between the two friendly countries and latest national and regional developments and a number of issues of common concern.<\/p>\n
President al-Alimi reviewed economic and administrative reforms adopted by the Presidential Council and the government and needed international support to enhance them.<\/p>\n
President al-Alimi touched upon recent Houthi terrorist militia’s violations to human rights against a number of activists and international and UN workers, within continuous undermining of peace process and complicating humanitarian crisis of the Yemeni people.<\/p>\n
He confirmed importance of international pressures, decisions and punishments against Houthi terrorist militia, pointing out to international community’s responsibilities of combating smuggling of Iranian weapons to the terrorist militia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
