\nThe Yemeni government has spoken highly of the efforts of Egypt, Qatar, and the US to broker a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, ending the siege, and delivering relief aid to the Strip.<\/p>\n
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the Yemeni government had welcomed the United States’ President Joe Biden’s initiative for a ceasefire saying this represents an opportunity to end the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n
The ministry renewed the government’s supportive position in favour of the Palestinian people’s ambitions and right to establish a sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital within the two-state solution framework, as per the Arab Peace Initiative and the UN resolutions as the only way to bring about security and peace in the region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
