His Excellency President Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met with Ambassador of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Sarhan Al-Muneekhr, to discuss political and economic developments in Yemen, progress in comprehensive reforms and their positive impact on Yemen’s currency exchange rate, regional and international support needed to consolidate successes and end humanitarian suffering caused by Houthi militia backed by Iran.<\/p>\n
The meeting also highlighted GCC’s continued support for Yemen’s constitutional legitimacy and efforts to counter threats to its identity and economy.<\/p>\n
