The phone conversation covered the intensive efforts made to de-escalate the tensions caused by the South Transitional Council’s unilateral military movements, President al-Alimi’s call for South-South dialogue in Riyadh and the key role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to de-escalate and normalize situations in Hadramout and al-Mahra.<\/p>\n
The British Minister of State confirmed the United Kingdom is closely following the developments in Yemen, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing the political track and de-escalation.<\/p>\n
