\nThe Yemeni government has welcomed the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump on the establishment of a Peace Council, the launch of the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, and the commencement of duties by the Palestinian National Committee to administer the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n
In a statement issued on Thursday, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the government described the move as an important step toward consolidating the ceasefire and creating the conditions for a political process that would lead to ending the suffering of the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n
