\nMinister of Youth and Sports in the Caretaker Government, Naif al-Bakri met Tuesday with US Ambassador to Yemen Steven Fagin.<\/p>\n
He discussed with him ways to enhance joint cooperation in a manner that contributes to improving stability, supporting state institutions and rehabilitating youth.<\/p>\n
Minister al-Bakri also addressed the Southern\u2013Southern Dialogue Conference, called for by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing it as a fundamental step toward addressing the root causes of the Southern Issue within the framework of the state project.<\/p>\n
The Minister of Youth and Sports praised Washington\u2019s efforts in supporting the peace process in Yemen, commending the United States\u2019 positions in support of Yemen\u2019s security and stability, and underscoring the importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries in facing current challenges\u2014maintaining momentum at a healthy pace.<\/p>\n
