\nThe formation of Yemen\u2019s new government, headed by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani, has been met with broad welcome from the United Nations and the international community, reflecting high expectations for the government\u2019s role in leading the next phase.<\/p>\n
The United Nations and a number of countries welcomed the formation of the government, describing it as an important step
\ntoward strengthening stability, restoring state institutions, and alleviating the humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people.<\/p>\n
They affirmed their full support for the new government\u2019s efforts to implement economic and service-sector reforms, advance a comprehensive and just peace process, and work with the international community to fulfill Yemenis\u2019 aspirations for security, development, and stability.<\/p>\n
