Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah Al-Zouba today discussed with Norway\u2019s non-resident Ambassador to Yemen Kjersti Tromsdal ways to strengthen bilateral relations, developments in the humanitarian situation, and support for humanitarian response efforts.<\/p>\n
Dr Al-Zouba expressed her appreciation for Norway\u2019s support to Yemen. She also congratulated Ambassador Tromsdal on her accreditation as Norway\u2019s non-resident Ambassador to Yemen, wishing her success in carrying out her duties and contributing to the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n
Minister Al-Zouba affirmed that targeting commercial vessels in the Red Sea poses a threat to the security and safety of maritime navigation and the freedom of international trade.<\/p>\n
For her part, the Norwegian Ambassador reaffirmed her country\u2019s continued support for the Yemeni government and its commitment to supporting efforts aimed at achieving peace in Yemen.
