Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr Afrah Al-Zouba received a congratulatory message from Dr. Johann Wadephul, Germany\u2019s Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of her appointment as the first woman to lead the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Yemen.<\/p>\n
In his message, the German Foreign Minister extended his sincere congratulations to Dr Al-Zouba and expressed his support as she assumes her new responsibilities. He noted that her appointment comes at a particularly critical and challenging time for Yemen and the wider region, amid ongoing regional and international developments, including renewed attacks targeting international shipping in the Red Sea, whose repercussions extend beyond the region.<\/p>\n
Minister Wadephul praised the strong and longstanding bilateral relations and close partnership between the two countries.<\/p>\n
