The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomes the joint statement issued following the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye, and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Istanbul on 23 October 2026, including its explicit condemnation of the Houthi escalation and attacks against the Kingdom and international navigation, and its reaffirmation of full solidarity with the Yemeni government and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

The Ministry highly appreciates the four countries\u2019 support for the efforts of the Yemeni government in fulfilling its constitutional responsibilities to restore state institutions, protect citizens, safeguard Yemen\u2019s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, and secure international navigation. It affirms that these efforts are based on the three agreed references at the national, regional, and international levels: the **GCC Initiative and its Implementation Mechanism**, the outcomes of the Comprehensive National Dialogue Conference, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, foremost among them Resolution 2216.<\/p>\n

The Republic of Yemen commends the diplomatic efforts undertaken by the four countries to promote peace and stability in the region, protect freedom of navigation and the security of maritime corridors, and maintain consultation and coordination on regional issues of common interest.<\/p>\n

The Republic of Yemen expresses its appreciation for the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, leader of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, in supporting the Yemeni government and promoting Yemen\u2019s security and stability. It reiterates its full solidarity with the Kingdom in confronting Houthi terrorist attacks and supports its right to protect its security and sovereignty, affirming that the security of Yemen, the Kingdom, and the region is indivisible.<\/p>\n
