{"id":5745,"date":"2018-11-06T13:26:43","date_gmt":"2018-11-06T10:26:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mofa-ye.org\/Pages\/?p=5745"},"modified":"2018-11-07T10:28:32","modified_gmt":"2018-11-07T07:28:32","slug":"yemen-joins-comsats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mofa-ye.org\/Pages\/5745\/","title":{"rendered":"Yemen joins COMSATS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><div style=\"direction: ltr;\">ISLAM ABAD-SABA<\/div><div style=\"direction: ltr;\">Yemen signed on Tuesday the treaty for joining the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS).<\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><div style=\"direction: ltr;\">Yemen&#8217;s Ambassador to Pakistan Mohammad al-Ashabi signed the treaty representing Yemeni party and Director of COMSATS JunaidiZaidi signed it for the commission party.<\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><div style=\"direction: ltr;\">Al-Ashabi confirmed that joining Yemen to the commission confirms keenness of the government on reacting with outside world for ensuring Yemen&#8217;s interests despite the country occupation with ending Houthi coup and tackling its catastrophic effects.<\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><div style=\"direction: ltr;\">He expressed hope that Yemeni youth will make use of the commission&#8217;s 22 centers and from Pakistani famous university COMSATS, as well as boosting academic and research cooperation with the commission.<\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><div style=\"direction: ltr;\">The COMSATS has been established in 1994 and includes 27 countries from the southern states, led by China, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Nigeria and Colombia.<\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><div style=\"direction: ltr;\">The commission tends to improve infrastructure of sciences and technology for serving sustainable development in member countries.<\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><br\/><\/div><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAM ABAD-SABAYemen signed on Tuesday the treaty for joining the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS).
