\nYemen’s Foreign Minister said it is hard for the government to consider new peace talks with Houthis while the (implementation of the) last “Stockholm Agreement” hasn’t seen any concrete progress.

\nIn a meeting with the French ambassador to Yemen here today, Mohammed al-Hadhrami reiterated the government’s interest in a sustainable peace as a comprehensive deal.<\/p>\n

He called on the UN Security Council to take punitive measures against the rebels who have denied UN experts access to a loaded Yemeni oil tanker that is stranded in the Red Sea since 2015 and poses an epic environmental threat.<\/p>\n

He also called on the Southern Transitional Council to honor the Riyadh Agreement and implement it according to its time mechanism.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
