Yemen presides over preparatory meetings of the Arab Economic and Social Council

The preparatory meetings for the Economic and Social Council began today at the headquarters of the Arab League in the Egyptian capital, Cairo with a meeting of the Social Committee of the Council headed by the representative of Yemen, Minister Plenipotentiary Ali Saleh Musa.

 

The committee will discuss the social file of the new session of the Council, foremost of which is preparation for the development summit scheduled for November 7 in Mauritania.

Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League and Head of the Social Affairs Sector, Ambassador Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, stressed the importance of these meetings to prepare for the Arab Development Summit in its next session.
