President al-Alimi arrives in Munich to contribute to the International Security Conference

MUNICH – SABA

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) arrived today, Thursday in the German city of Munich to participated in discussions of the International Security Conference which its sessions will be kicked-off tomorrow Friday.

The Economic Advisor of the Chair of the PLC Dr. Abdulaziz al-Mikhlafi, the Secretary General of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Trade and the Charged’ Affairs of the Yemeni Embassy in Berlin Lou’ay al-Eryani received the President at the airport.

His Excellency is set to contribute to the gathering sessions as key speaker to talk about the situation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. He will highlighted the required role by the international community to support the internationally recognized government to enable it exercising its full sovereignty over its seashores and regional waters.

He is also will have discussions with several leaders on the sidelines of the conference over the issues of common interests.

The Munich Conference is the largest function about the security policy of the world, its deliberations concentrate on the current security crises and the future challenges for the international security and peace.

This year the gathering is convened with unprecedented participation by the heads of states and the government, foreign and defense ministers, representatives of the international and regional organization including the UN and EU, the Organization of Economic and Development cooperation, the International Criminal Court, as this year gathering marks the 60 anniversary of establishing this conference.
