Prime Minister blames Houthi militias for prolonging the conflict in Yemen

Prime Minister Dr. Ma’een Abdulmalik provided an informative presentation about the political, humanitarian situations and peace process in Yemen.

He explained the reasons for the stalemate in the peace process, squarely putting blame on the Houthi militias for rejecting to renew the humanitarian truce and prolonging the war.

Speaking at the Center of Human Dialogue in Geneva, today, Wednesday, Dr. Ma’een touched upon the ongoing UN-led efforts, regional and international good offices to push the peace process in Yemen.

He cited the challenges facing the political settlement path amid the Terrorist Houthi militias’ intransigence, with encouragement by the Iranian regime.

The Prime Minister explained the government’s structural reforms backed by the Presidential Leadership Council, confirming the government’s commitment to the constructive and serious dialogue to get solution to the Yemeni crisis.
