Foreign Minister praises UAE’s support for Yemen

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak greatly praised the key role of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in backing the internationally recognized Yemeni government’s efforts to eliminate Houthi militias’ coup and restore the state’s institutions.

As he met the UAE’s Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Mohammed Azua’abi today, Sunday, BinMubark deeply appreciated the Emirati significant contribution to the humanitarian actions and development drive to revitalize the economy and relieve the humanitarian suffering due to the economic war waged by Houthi militias on the Yemeni people.

BinMubarak’s conversations with Azua’abi covered the political developments, prospects for peace in Yemen and the ongoing efforts to end the war make peace.

The Emirati Ambassador reaffirmed his country’s support for the Presidential Leadership Council, the internationally recognized government and Yemen’s unity, stability.

Azua’abi also confirmed the Emirati support for regional and international efforts to establish peace in Yemen in accordance with the three terms of peace references that are agreed on nationally, regionally and internationally.
