Yemen government declares full support for humanitarian community against Houthi violations

ADEN-SABA
The Yemeni government announced its full support and solidarity with the humanitarian community against the arbitrary measures taken by the terrorist Houthi militias, including the expulsion of United Nations and humanitarian relief agency employees who hold dual American and British citizenship, in flagrant violation of national and international laws and norms.

The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation confirmed in a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that these immoral measures are added to the record of the terrorist militia full of serious violations of the freedom of humanitarian work and relief workers protected under international law.

The statement said, “The directives issued by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government stress the provision of all facilities and guarantees for the work of UN organizations and international relief agencies from the temporary capital, Aden, and the liberated governorates, in a way that enhances their presence and humanitarian interventions in various parts of Yemen without any restrictions.”
