Prime Minister receives phone call from UAE Foreign Minister on more cooperation

Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak, received a phone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the call, they discussed areas of cooperation between the two countries and prospects for strengthening and developing them.

The Prime Minister and the UAE Foreign Minister exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. They also discussed the views and positions of both countries on various issues and developments of mutual interest at the national, regional, and international levels.

They also addressed the support provided by the United Arab Emirates to assist the government’s efforts during this stage and help it overcome the current challenges, in line with its steadfast positions and generous support for the Yemeni people.

The Prime Minister expressed appreciation for the UAE’s commitment to supporting the government and the Yemeni people, including the recent grant of petroleum derivatives, and its effective interventions in humanitarian and developmental aspects.

In turn, the UAE Foreign Minister reiterated his country’s commitment to continuing its support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the government of Yemen, and its assistance in achieving the interests of the Yemeni people and contributing to the consolidation of their security and stability.

He commended the efforts of the Yemeni government in these difficult and exceptional circumstances and expressed the UAE’s keenness to support its efforts in addressing the existing challenges and achieving the required response.
