Foreign Minister discusses with Bahraini counterpart issues of common interest

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani discussed sunday with the Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdullatif al-Zayyani prospects for developing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and ways to enhance coordination and joint consultation on issues of common interest.

On the sidelines of the twenty-first session of the Regional Security Conference (Manama Dialogue), the two parties discussed developments in the situation in the Red Sea, stressing the importance of coordinating regional and international efforts to protect maritime navigation and ensure the security of vital corridors through which global trade and energy pass.

Minister Zindani expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain for the good organization and great success achieved by the Manama Dialogue, which consolidated its position as a high-level platform for constructive dialogue and the exchange of visions between leaders and decision-makers on the most prominent regional and international issues.

He confirmed that this success reflects the positive role and distinguished position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in supporting security and stability and enhancing regional cooperation.

For his part, the Bahraini Foreign Minister reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s firm position in supporting the Yemeni government and its efforts to restore security and stability
