The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi met today, Saturday, with His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Sheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, on the sidelines of the 23rd Doha Forum.
Yemeni-Mauritanian bilateral relations and cooperation was key focus of the conversations.
The developments in the Yemeni national arena were also touched upon.
Dr. al-Alimi expressed thanks and gratitude to the Mauritanian government for its supportive stances in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government, greatly valued the military scholarships that Mauritania provides to Yemen at the Command and Staff College.
The Mauritanian President of Mauritania confirmed his country’s full support for the internationally recognized Yemeni government and leadership.
He stated that Mauritania is very keen to further develop bilateral cooperation with Yemen to serve the mutual interests of the two countries.
