Yemen participated in an emergency meeting of the Arab League Council at the permanent representatives level, led by Yemen’s Acting Permanent Representative, Ambassador Dr. Ali Moussa, to discuss the implications of Israel’s recognition of the so-called “Somaliland” region.
The meeting condemned Israel’s recognition as a unilateral move violating international law and threatening Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
