Rights symposium in Geneva demands end to Houthi violations against journalists

Geneva – Saba

A human rights symposium held today at the headquarters of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland, called for adopting the cause of Yemeni journalists and exerting more international efforts and pressure to stop the violations and crimes committed by the Houthi coup militias against them.

The symposium, organized by the Maonah Association for Human Rights and Migration in partnership with the International Lawyers Organization, the Union of Arab Jurists and the Geneva Center for Justice, stressed the necessity of working to end the suffering of journalists in areas controlled by the Houthi militia and providing them with the necessary protection.
