The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen expresses its deep concern over the military escalation and attacks targeting civilian facilities and critical infrastructure in the city of El Obeid in the brotherly Republic of the Sudan, which threaten civilian lives and exacerbate the humanitarian situation.
The Republic of Yemen calls upon all parties to halt the escalation, prioritize dialogue, and work toward achieving a peaceful settlement that preserves Sudan’s unity, security, and stability. It reiterates its firm position supporting Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and its rejection of any interference in its internal affairs, while expressing its full solidarity with the brotherly Sudanese people and its heartfelt wishes for their security and peace.
