Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah Al-Zouba sent a congratulatory message to India’s Minister of External Affairs, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the independence of the friendly Republic of India. She wished Minister Jaishankar continued success in carrying out his duties, and the Government and people of India further progress and prosperity.
Minister Al-Zouba praised India’s supportive positions on Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, as well as its support for the Yemeni Government’s efforts to end the coup and restore state institutions.
Dr. Al-Zouba reaffirmed Yemen’s commitment to strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation with India across various fields in a manner that serves the shared interests of the two countries and their peoples, expressing her hope for continued growth and progress in bilateral relations.
