Yemen’s FM discusses with Saudi counterpart unifying diplomatic efforts

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ahmad Awadh bin Mubarak discussed Wednesday with Saudi Counterpart Emir Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah unifying diplomatic and political efforts regarding common concerned regional and international issues.

Minister bin Mubarak talked about significance of activating steps of implementing Riyadh Agreement for unifying national fronts to serve the interest of Yemeni people and normalizing conditions in the transitional capital of Aden.

He reviewed issues of expatriates and solving their problems as they represent vital economic revenue to Yemen under these current conditions over Houthi militia’s coup, which caused the greatest humanitarian crisis Yemeni people ever witnessed.

For his part, the Saudi FM confirmed his country’s fixed position supporting Yemen’s unity, security and stability and keenness of the Saudi leadership on promoting cooperation with Yemen in different fields, as well as coordination for supporting international and regional efforts for ending the war and realizing peace in Yemen.

The two parties welcomed the UN resolution appointing Hans Grunberg a new envoy to the UN succeeding the British Martin Griffiths.
