Statment by the Ministry of Foreign and expatriates Affairs on the international silence over the genocide of civilians and IDP’s by the Houthi terrorist militia in Abdia district of Marib province.

The Ministry of Foreign and expatriates Affairs is surprised by the international silence over the genocide of civilians and IDP’s by the Houthi terrorist militia in Abdia district of Marib province.

At a time when the Houthi militia is targeting tens of thousands of civilians in the district with various types of weapons, it is imposing a suffocating blockade on the district and preventing the entry of food, medicine and baby milk to the civilians.

The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs renews its call on the Security Council to protect civilians in various possible ways and to spare them the scourge of war and the direct targeting of guided ballistic missiles and heavy weapons. It also calls for international condemnation of violations of international humanitarian law committed by the Houthi militia in Yemen.
