Non-Resident Ambassador of Republic of Yemen to the Republic of Belarus Ahmed al-Wuhayshi met today here with Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikalai Barysevich.
They conferred over bilateral ties between the two countries and issues of common interests.
Al-Wuhayshi briefed Barysevich on the latest developments pertaining to peace efforts in Yemen, affirming the Yemeni government’s full support for the UN-led peace efforts . He blamed Houthi militia for the peace process stalemate.
The Belarusian minister voiced his country’s support for Yemen and legitimate Yemeni government as well as the UN- lead efforts to make peace.
