Developments of the New Displacement Situation on Ma’rib Governorate

The Executive Unit for the Management of IDPs Camps in the directorates of  (Rahba – Harib- Al- Juba – Jabal Murad -Al Abdiyah -Sirwah Districts ) in the Ma’rib Governorate issued a report on the developments of the displacement situation in the Ma’rib Governorate, where the consequences of the burdens of hostilities and excessive violence are compounded by the ongoing brutal military escalation perpetrated by the terrorist Houthi militia Against the residents of the southern districts of Ma’rib.

 

The Executive Unit indicated that the Houthi hostile attacks on civilians in populated areas and as a result of these actions, more than 54,502 forcibly displaced people left those areas as a result of these hostile actions of the Houthi militia and its targeting of residential communities with ballistic missiles in the Juba district, which is still witnessing a continuous escalation.

The Executive Unit reiterates its humanitarian appeal to the international community, UN agencies and organizations to assume their humanitarian responsibilities in protecting civilians and the displaced and to respond urgently to their essential and life-saving needs in all humanitarian fields.
