Yemen presents draft decision to Arab League on Houthi militia’s crimes

The Permanent Representative of Yemen to the Arab League Ambassador Riyadh al-Okbori participated Monday in a meeting for Arab League Council on Permanent Representatives level- the 157th Round, which has been held Monday on the level of Arab Foreign Ministers under the presidency of Lebanon.

The meeting resulted in a draft decision made by Yemen, which confirmed Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, security and stability and supporting government of President Abd-Rabu Mansour Hadi.

The draft decision confirmed support to government’s peace approach, support to UN Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg for resuming political process, support to initiative of Saudi Arabia for peace in Yemen and warning of deterioration of the humanitarian and health situations in the country.

The draft decision includes a call to the international community not to neglect the real reasons behind complicating the humanitarian situation, a call for quick help to the tragedy of Yemeni displaced people and to stop Houthi militia’s attacks their camps and denouncing al forms of Houthi militia’s violations and attacks on Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
