Al-Hadhrami hands over credentials to US President

President of the Unites States of America Joe Baiden received Monday credentials of Mohammed al-Hadhrami as Yemen’s ambassador to the US.

In the meeting, Ambassador al-Hadhrami conveyed best wishes of President of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi to his US counterpart, confirming keenness of Yemen on promoting cooperation relations between the two friendly countries.

He expressed thanks to the US for its support to the Government of Yemen and for UN peace process in Yemen.

For his part, US President confirmed that reaching a permanent peace in Yemen is considered an outmost priority for the US.

Welcoming the newly appointed ambassador, President Baiden confirmed that the United States will provide all facilitations to him to help him promote relations between the two countries.
