The health of journalist Tawfik Almansouri, in a detention facility run by the terrorist Houthi militia in Sana’a since June 2015, has been seriously deteriorating in the past hours, Almansouri family told the Syndicate of Yemeni Journalists on Friday.

His relatives say he is in need for a prompt hospitalization, but the Houthi militia denies him access to healthcare.
Almansouri is sentenced to death and subjected to torture at the hands of Houthi terrorists and now his life is in danger.

The Syndicate has demanded the Houthi militia to release him and all other journalists in its captivity saying the militia is responsible for their lives.

The Syndicate called on all international organizations concerned with freedom of expression including the International Federation for Journalists and the Arab Journalists Union to intervene, save Yemeni journalists from execution and ensure their release.
