BinMubarak, Oppenheim discuss the efforts to make peace

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak met today, Sunday, with the British Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Richard Oppenheim.

The session intended to discuss, bilateral ties between the two countries, developments in Yemen and underway efforts to achieve peace.

BinMubarak stated that the government is open to all efforts aiming to make peace in Yemen, willing to do everything can put down the coup d’état, re-establish security, stability and allay the Yemeni peoples’ suffering all around Yemeni regions.

He noted that Houthi militia’s hostile policy and its rejection to the peace proposals is driven by ultra-conservative and radical religious doctrine.

The British Ambassador affirmed his government’s support for Yemen and the efforts of the UN’s envoy to make peace in Yemen.
