Yemen, Philippines discuss coordinating positions between them

Yemen’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Manilla Adel Bahumaid discussed Friday with Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs Enrique Manalo enhancing relations between the two countries, especially coordinating positions in international forums regarding common concerned issues.

The meeting touched upon mutual relations between the two countries in economic, educational and cultural domains.

Bahumaid reviewed latest developments in Yemen and efforts exerted by the Presidential Leadership Council to realize peace and improve livelihood and economic conditions under Houthi terrorist militia’s stubbornness and its insistence on creating as big as much of destruction in the country with support from Iran.

For his part, the Philippine Foreign Minister confirmed readiness of his country on promoting relations between the two countries in different fields, pointing out to Philippines’ support to all efforts of the UN envoy for Yemen to reach a political solution ending suffering of Yemeni people.

Bahumaid also met with Assistant of Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs for Middle East Region and North Africa discussing with him latest developments in Yemen and efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to alleviate suffering of Yemeni people over Houthi terrorist militia’s war.
