KAMPALA-SABA

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak and his Algerian counterpart Ahmed Attaf discussed aspects of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.

The discussions took place today, Friday, on the sidelines of the Non-Aligned Summit held in Kampala, Ugandan.

The two Ministers underscored the need to reinvigorate the sessions of the Joint Yemeni-Algerian Committee and to enforce the agreements and protocols the two countries signed on earlier.

They also touched upon the Israeli occupation troops’ genocides against the Palestinian people, stressing the urgency to stop the Israeli’s annihilation war.

BinMubark updated Attaf on the latest developments in Yemen and the Red Sea region where the terrorist Houthi militias have continued to target the commercial ships.

The Algerian Minister reiterated Algeria’s support for the internationally recognized Yemeni government and the efforts to achieve peace, security and stability in Yemen.
