Vice FM Discusses Enhanced Cooperation with World Food Programme

Vice Foreign Minister, Mustafa Noman, Mustafa Numan, met with the new representative of the World Food Programme (WFP) in Yemen, Leila Ahadi, to discuss ways to enhance the programme’s operations in the country.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration and coordination to ensure the delivery of aid to the most vulnerable populations and overcome field challenges.

Numan welcomed Ahadi to her new role and expressed the government’s support for the WFP’s efforts to alleviate the suffering of citizens.

Ahadi emphasized the WFP’s commitment to enhancing its partnership with the Yemeni government and expanding its humanitarian interventions to improve food security and support community stability.
