Yemen condemns blast Targeted St. Elias Church in Damascus

The Republic of Yemen has condemned, in the strongest terms, the blast that targeted St. Elias Church in the Douala area of the Syrian capital, Damascus, resulting in several casualties and injuries.

In a statement received by the Yemeni news agency (SABA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “The Republic of Yemen, while facing the repercussions of the scourge of terrorism itself, reaffirms its solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic and its brotherly people in confronting these criminal acts that contradict all religious and human values.”

It called for concerted efforts to combat terrorism and extremism in all its forms and manifestations.

The ministry emphasized Yemen’s full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic, expressing heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
