Yemen Condemns in the Strongest Terms the Hostile Attacks on the State of Kuwait

Aden

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expresses the Republic of Yemen’s condemnation, in the strongest possible terms, of the ongoing hostile attacks targeting the brotherly State of Kuwait using missiles and drones. The Ministry considers these acts a flagrant violation of state sovereignty, the principles of international law, and the United Nations Charter, as well as a grave threat to the security and stability of the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirms the Republic of Yemen’s categorical rejection of any attempts aimed at undermining the sovereignty of brotherly nations or threatening their security and stability. It reiterates its full solidarity and unwavering stance alongside the brotherly State of Kuwait, supporting all measures it takes to safeguard its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that these attacks once again reveal the aggressive nature of the Iranian regime and its persistence in pursuing policies of escalation and destabilization of regional security, whether through its direct aggressions or via its proxy arms and militias in the region.

The Republic of Yemen calls upon the international community and the Security Council to take a firm stance against these repeated aggressions, to work toward protecting the security of the region and its waterways, and to dry up the sources of support, funding, and arming of transnational terrorist militias, foremost among which are the terrorist Houthi militias.
