Yemen participates in the 34th round of Arab Justice Minister Council in Khartoum

Yemen participated in the activities of the 34th round of Arab Justice Ministers Council held here on Thursday with a delegation headed by Yemen’s Ambassador to Sudan Omer al-Madawi and Advisor of the country’s mission in the Arab League Ahmad Agroum.

In the opening ceremony of the session, the participants paid homage and say prayers to the late Minister of Justice of Yemen Jamal Omer who passed early this week.

Launching the session, Sudanese President Omer al-Bashir welcomed the gusts, hoping success to the round. He valued the council’s decision of calling for lifting Sudan from US list of states sponsoring terrorism.

The meeting discussed a number of anti-terrorism Arab agreements, unifying Arab legislations, Arab anti-corruption agreement and Arab agreement on refugees.

The council took necessary decisions to strengthening Arab cooperation in judiciary field and legislations between Arab countries.
