Yemen Government Supports Presidential Council’s Decisions, Praises Saudi Arabia’s Stance

Aden – Saba
The Yemeni government has expressed full support for President Rashad al-Alimi’s decisions, including declaring a state of emergency and taking measures to protect citizens and state sovereignty.

The government statement praised Saudi Arabia’s historical and steadfast stance in supporting Yemen’s security and stability, and its responsible leadership of the coalition supporting legitimacy.

The government condemned the Southern Transitional Council’s (STC) unilateral military moves and introduction of arms and forces outside official frameworks, calling it a serious security breach and threat to citizens and state unity.

The government urged the STC to immediately withdraw from Hadramout and Al-Mahra provinces, hand over positions to the Nation Shield Forces, and commit to transitional phase agreements.
