In a significant move, Yemen’s President Rashad al-Alimi has issued a decree canceling the defense agreement with the United Arab Emirates and ordering UAE forces to leave the country within 24 hours.
The decree also instructs the Shield Forces to take over military camps in Hadramout and Al-Mahra provinces, citing the need to protect citizens and maintain national sovereignty amid ongoing tensions.
