Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani met Friday with President Ahmed Al-Sharaa of the Syrian Arab Republic on the sidelines of his participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
The Prime Minister conveyed greetings of President Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, to the Syrian President.
He affirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening frameworks of coordination and consultation with the Syrian Arab Republic in a manner that serves mutual interests and supports efforts to restore stability in the region.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and prospects for their development, in addition to a number of issues of common concern, particularly the latest developments in the region.
