The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expresses the Republic of Yemen’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the continued Israeli attacks against the sisterly Lebanese Republic, including the expansion of ground incursions into southern Lebanon and the accompanying targeting of civilians and ongoing violations that undermine Lebanon’s sovereignty, security, and stability. These actions further exacerbate tensions in the region and pose a serious threat to regional peace and security.
The Republic of Yemen calls upon the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities and to take the necessary measures to halt these repeated attacks, ensure respect for the rules of international law, and implement the relevant resolutions of international legitimacy, including United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701.
The Republic of Yemen reaffirms its steadfast support for the sisterly Lebanese Republic, as well as its unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
